The Alchemist's Bandolier MK2 by RawringCrafts The Alchemist's Bandolier MK2 by RawringCrafts
This is a new version of my Alchemist's Bandolier [link]

I originally didn't intend to make another one, but I got several requests to do so, so here it is.

I made several changes to it's design for two reasons:
1) to keep the first one an unique item
2) to be able to reproduce it. The first one was made with parts I just had lying around and that I couldn't re-stock. This one is entirely made from store bought supplies.

Here's the description of the item itself:

As an adventuring alchemist's central piece of equipment, this bandolier provides everything a travelling potion brewer needs.
Easily accessible vials to hold your potions (or liquors, for the mellow brewers) and a sturdy flask safely contains your healing elixir. Your ingredients and spell components are securely stashed away in a spacious pouch on your hip. Two loops on the back hold your backup weapon in place and finally a pauldron provides a minimum in protection.

Truly, every alchemist on an adventure would love to possess this bandolier.

Roleplaying aside: This bandolier is made out of artificial leather, with a soft, black fleece padding on the inside. The vials are made out of polypropylen and thus completely shatter proof. The flask is thick, sturdy glass. Both the vials and the flask are 100% fit to hold consumable liquids, or food. The vials hold about 12ml each and the flask holds 200ml. The flask can be removed from the bandolier by opening a pressure button.
The hip pouch is roughly 15cm*15cm*4cm big and lined with fleece. A magneting snap-button securely closes it.
The d-rings are made from stainless steel and the eyelets from aluminum.
It comes with one set (4pcs) of vials and one glass flask. If you want more than that, just convo me.

Do you want to become a travelling Alchemist, too?

I'm in love with this alchemist bandolier and it's the first thing on my to-buy list as soon as I've got some LARP money left  I saw this piece on a LARP costume and thought it was gorgeous. You truly are skilled :D

If I order this, will it be "exactly" the same?

Thank you very much!

it will most likely not an exact copy no... Since every one of them is made to order and I dont have any big supplier besides the local fabric stores, it often happens that I have to use slightly different materials. I always try to get it as close to the original as possible though. (unless requested otherwise, of course)

Sounds reasonable and understandable =) But the main concept would be nearly the same I guess, like the design.
I'll keep this on my to-buy list for sure, for when I start to play my new alchemist character! Can't wait to wear this gear in LARP

I've got one more little question; Do you know if this gear is capable of withstanding battle? I'll be fighting with a staff, so I have to move around a lot.

Hm. From what I've heard from my customers, they hold up pretty well.
The only thing I can see breaking easily is the strap holding the bottle, because it's a quite heavy weight on a single strip of leather...

That sounds great :D I don't suppose the bottle will be a problem, for I could always store it away somewhere safe in case I get into battle. Thanks for answering all my questions, dear =)
